|For more than two decades, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation has partnered with visionaries throughout the state of Utah to improve the lives of all its citizens.
Since its founding in 1982, the Foundation has made more than $300 million in grants ranging from modest assistance of $1,000 or less to multimillion- dollar investments in universities and health-care organizations. The Foundation addresses needs large and small alike - always seeking to make a personal difference in the daily lives of Utahns, and to ensure a strong economic base for their future.
Throughout this website are stories highlighting some of the Foundation's project partners and the people who benefit from their dedicated efforts. Each story represents the broad spectrum of organizations to which the Foundation has directed grants over the past ten years - focused on areas including arts and culture, the community, education, health care, and preservation and conservation.
A common thread of need and opportunity has enabled the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation to help others make a meaningful difference in the lives of Utahns. Each goal realized owes its success to many people. Together ... weaving dreams into triumphs.
